SALVO, Hanna Entered into eternal rest on the evening of August 19, 2004, Hanna Emily Salvo. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services three o clock Sunday, August 22, 2004 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may call at Stuhr s Downtown Chapel Saturday between five and seven o clock. Miss Salvo was born May 21, 1939 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Francis Raphael Salvo and Anna Dorinda Thelning Salvo. She graduated from St. Joseph s, Savannah, GA, with a RN Degree. She retired from a life-long career as an operating nurse and ambulatory surgical nurse from Roper Hospital with 34 years of service. She was a member of St. Andrew s Lutheran Church. Hanna cared for many people through her extensive career as a nurse, but more importantly through her caring and kind acts for neighbors, family, friends and more. She was a friend to abandoned animals, especially those whom she took into her life: Sport, Bud and Molly. She is survived by her cousins: Karl E. Salvo, Nancy S. Kruger, Ursula S. Kaiser, Victor A. Salvo, Lorraine S. Leitch, all of Charleston and Emily S. Mandy of VA. Beach, VA, Dorinda Quarterman Harmon and her husband Terry, Daniel Harmon of James Island; Victor R. Quarterman and his wife Cindy of Charleston, Susan and Rudy Quarterman of Charleston; Emmie Quarterman Beck and her husband Fred and Will Beck of Bennettsville, SC; Karen Wingate Campbell and her husband Bruce and Kristin and Samantha Campbell of Lexington, SC; Lauren Wingate Kantz and her husband Mike and Liesel, Ann Marie, Michael and Seth of North Augusta, SC; Kevin Wingate of North Augusta, SC; Deidre Wingate Lloyd and her husband Robert and Jessica, Austin and Preston of Kingsport, TN; Anne Marie Wingate (wife of deceased cousin Everett K. Wingate, Jr.) of North Augusta, SC; William Quarterman (husband of deceased cousin, Lila Wingate Quarterman) of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by her Soul Mate and best friend, Penny Frady and loving special family Melissa Ann White and her husband Delma O Neal White, II and young masters Ryan Patrick Mizzell and Delma O Neal White, III of Charleston, SC.
